He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology (2020) and a Master's from the postgraduate program in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology (PPGGEv-UFSCar). He is developing a PhD in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology through the same program (PPGGEv-UFSCar). During his PhD, he completed an internship abroad (01/09/2023 - 31/12/2023 - CAPES-PROBRAL/DAAD) at the Universitätsklinikum Jena under the supervision of Professor Dr. Thomas Liehr. He is currently a member of the Laboratory of Evolutionary Cytogenetics (LEC), developing research projects focused on evolutionary genetics, with emphasis on the evolution of sex chromosomes and adaptation genetics. He uses genomics, phylogeography, population genetics, and transcriptomics to investigate questions in the field of evolutionary biology.
