Postdoctoral fellow in Molecular Medicine at the Albert Einstein Institute of Education and Research, she contributes to the Human Cell Atlas by mapping DNA and RNA from samples of the Brazilian mixed-race population. PhD and Master's degree from USP, Biomedical Science from Universidade Nove de Julho, investigated strategies for reversing HIV latency in the brain and investigated vertical transmission of HTLV-1 at the HIV Cure Center. PhD and Master's degree from the University of São Paulo in the Tropical Diseases and International Health program. During her master's degree, she identified prognostic markers for neurological disease associated with HTLV-1 (2020). Between August 2017 and January 2018, she verified the specific immune response in HIV-1 infected individuals under antiretroviral therapy compared to patients who had not progressed to AIDS for a long time and elite controllers. From April 2015 to July 2017, he developed a study that related polymorphisms of the IL28B gene and increased risk of mortality among patients infected with HIV-1, Scientific Initiation projects carried out at the Medical Research Laboratory-56 of the Institute of Tropical Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo.
