The student is in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering at ESALQ/USP, with one of the highest grades in his class. Throughout his academic journey, they were a FAPESP scholarship recipient and engaged in activities at Embrapa Territorial, Embrapa Meio Ambiente, and as an intern at the Radioisotope Laboratory at USP, where he continue his work.At Embrapa Territorial, he used Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to support reforestation projects in the Amazon, resulting in an award-winning oral presentation (https://ciic.iac.sp.gov.br/) and a poster presentation in Australia (https://ser2023.paperlessevents.com.au/share/Hidalgo-1554).At Embrapa Meio Ambiente, his work focused on peri-urban fruit farming in Valinhos/SP, addressing issues such as urban encroachment on rural areas and proposing logistical systems. Concurrently, he contributed to additional studies supporting Amazon reforestation projects and assisted in a systematic review using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep Learning models for article screening. In the Radioisotope Laboratory, his activities included data mining, optimization of Machine Learning algorithms for clustering and classification analyses, as well as generation and visualization of multidimensional data. He presented two poster abstracts at an international conference in Hungary (https://mtaa-icaa.org/mtaa16/) and an oral presentation at a national event. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
