Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Maringá and holds a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas. She has a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, with a research internship period at Université Laval (Quebec, Canada) and Colorado State University (Fort Collins, USA). She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Chemical Engineering at the State University of Campinas and served as a substitute professor in the Department of Bioprocesses and Biotechnology at São Paulo State University (Unesp) - Botucatu Campus. She has experience in the development of polymeric biomaterials with applications such as bioactive dressings and as supports for cell growth for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. She worked as a research and development engineer at the startup TissueLabs, which provides inputs and equipment for 3D bio-printing of tissues and organs. She is currently a scientific consultant at R-Crio, participating in scientific, technical, quality, and regulatory support activities in the field of cell therapy.
