BS in Physics (2009) and Master of Science in Materials Engineering (2011) at Federal University of Itajubá, UNIFEI. Doctor of Science in Atomic and Molecular Physics (2014) by Technological Institute of Aeronautics, ITA. Start in scientific research in 2007, working experimentally in the area of biomaterials in the development of based epoxy resin composites for applications in dental prostheses. In 2009 started working in the area of theoretical atomic and molecular physics, developing a new model for multi layered structure of titanium dioxide nanotubes. During his PhD, in the Group of Semiconductor Materials and Nanotechnology (GMSN) of the ITA, developed a methodology for the application of the LDA-1/2 to the calculation of defects in semiconductors. Currently, iis dedicated to the application of first-principles methods for the study of two dimensional materials, like graphene, topological insulators, electronic transport properties and recently the study of superionic phases of ice.
