Master's student in Audiovisual Media and Processes at the University of São Paulo (USP). Bachelors degree in Social Communication - Midialogy from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He has experience in the fields of Communication and Arts, with a research emphasis on Cinema Theory and Aesthetics, Visual Culture, Media Theory, and Image Theory. His main research topics include: artistic manifestations of the relations between image, memory, and history; artistic manifestations of the relations between archive, memory, and subjectivity; aesthetic-political configurations of the transparency-opacity binary in modern visual culture; and the relations between film theory and discourse analysis. As an undergraduate student, he was part of the CNPq research group "Visual Culture, Image, and History" (UNICAMP) from 2019 to 2022. Between 2020 and 2021, he developed the Scientific Initiation project "Por uma análise d'O Discurso Cinematográfico" funded by FAPESP, in which he researched the relationships between the use of transparency and opacity concepts in discourse analysis and in Ismail Xavier's film theory. The project was nominated for the PIBIC Award at the XXIX Scientific Initiation Congress of UNICAMP (2021) and was selected as one of the seven best works in the Arts category presented at this event. Co-director of the video-essay "Novas Vistas" (2023), produced in collaboration between UNICAMP and the Moreira Salles Institute as an accompanying piece for the exhibition "Moderna pelo Avesso: Fotografia e Cidade, Brasil, 1890-1930." He is currently researching critical reappropriations of the representational device of portraiture in Agnès Varda's cinematic work for his Master's degree. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
