CV Lattes ORCID

Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)  (Institutional affiliation for the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the State University of Londrina (Londrina, Paraná, Brazil), and the titles of Master and Doctor in Sciences obtained through the postgraduate program in Basic and Applied Immunology (IBA) by the Ribeirão Preto Medical School University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). Throughout his career, he has always been in contact with the development of classes and seminars for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as with national and international scientific conferences. He has experience as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Internal Medicine at FMRP, when he performed basic and clinical research to understand the mechanisms by which patients with rheumatoid arthritis do not respond appropriately to MTX, in addition to contributing to the understanding of the mechanisms involved with the pathophysiology of COVID-19.
