Lia Junqueira Pimont

PhD student at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) in the Aerospace Propulsion and Energy Graduate Program, focusing on sustainable fuels applied to internal combustion engines. Holds a Master of Science degree from ITA's Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering program (2020-2023), specializing in Aerospace Propulsion and Energy. Graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Paulista UNIP (2019). During her undergraduate studies, she was a Research Intern at the Institute of Aeronautics and Space (IAE), working on aerospace propulsion projects (2017-2019). Currently participates in the Women in STEM2D project, an ITA initiative aimed at encouraging women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Manufacturing, and Design.
