Maria Eduarda Pérez de Oliveira

Dentist graduated from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in 2017, awarded with the university laureate for the best academic performance in the 2017.2 Dentistry class. She earned a Master's degree (2020) and a PhD (2024) in Stomatopathology, with a concentration in Pathology, from the Piracicaba Dental School at the State University of Campinas (FOP-UNICAMP), a program evaluated with a CAPES rating of 7.During her undergraduate studies, she was part of the Institutional Program of Scientific Initiation Scholarships (PIBIC/UFPE/CNPq), working as a scholarship holder and research student between 2016 and 2017. In her graduate studies, she participated in oral diagnostic services, both in clinical practice and in the histopathology and cytopathology laboratory at FOP-UNICAMP.Between 2022 and 2023, she worked as a visiting researcher at the University of Sheffield, in the United Kingdom, through the Research Internship Abroad Program (BEPE-FAPESP).Her areas of interest and experience include oral and maxillofacial pathology, oral diagnosis, cytopathology, salivary gland tumors, systematic reviews, evidence gap map reviews, and evidence-based practice.
