Lívia got bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Federal University of Juiz de Fora (2008), where served as a scientific initiator (Bolsa PIBIC) in Cellular Biology Laboratory. Later, she obtained her master's degree from Oswaldo Cruz Institute (2011) through the postgraduate program in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She completed his doctorate (2016) in the same institute and postgraduate program and her thesis was developed in Immunopharmacology laboratory (FIOCRUZ) in partnership with Cellular biology laboratory (UFJF) focusing on oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation during experimental sepsis. She is currently developing her postdoctoral project at Immunopharmacology laboratory (FIOCRUZ) whose objective is to study cell damage mediated by lipid peroxidation during sepsis and multiple organ dysfunction. Has experience in cell biology, immunology, cell ultrastructure and inflammatory and infectious diseases. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
