Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at Embrapa Instrumention, São Carlos, SP. He did a postdoctoral in the Department of Materials Engineering (DEMa) at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). PhD and Master's degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel). During his PhD, he conducted a 12-month exchange (PDSE) at McMaster University in Canada and a 12-month exchange (BE MUNDUS) at Silesian University in Poland. He holds a Technical Course in Industrial Mechanics from the Rio Grande do Sul Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology (IFSul).
