Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Graduate Program in Biotechnology at the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGBiotec UFSCar) and a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA-IMS/CAT). During the doctoral studies, conducted a sandwich internship applying computational tools for the prospecting of secondary metabolites with anti-obesity, appetite-suppressing, and anti-tumor activities, using zebrafish as an experimental model. Experienced in microalgae biotechnology, microbiology, and industrial microbiology, with a focus on biochemistry, metabolomics, and the exploration of eukaryotic microalgae for applications in health, bioproduct development, and environmental sustainability.
