Graduated as Chemical Engineer at the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA, Master in Process Engineering at the Federal University of Santa Maria and PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (IQ-USP), where he conducted research on emerging biofuel markets through the application of life cycle analysis, exergetic analysis and technical-economic analysis. Dr Canabarro collaborated with the FAPESP Bioenergy Research Program (BIOEN-FAPESP), where he actively participated in projects linked to the Bioenergy Program of the International Energy Agency (IEA) in the field of Tasks 39 and 45.
