Bachelor of Biological Sciences from São Paulo State University (UNESP, 2017), Master in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Department of General and Applied Biology at UNESP/Rio Claro (2020), and currently a PhD candidate in the same program. Participated in an academic exchange through the Science Without Borders program at Ulster University (Northern Ireland), including an internship at the Nanotechnology and Integrated BioEngineering Centre (NIBEC). Since her undergraduate studies, she has been involved in research projects focused on insect cytogenetics and cytogenomics, with emphasis on the organization, evolution, and expression of repetitive DNA, sex chromosomes, and supernumerary (B) chromosomes. She is a member of the ICG Insect Cytogenomics Group. Her current research investigates the molecular composition, epigenetic patterns, and transcriptional effects of B chromosomes in Drosophila melanogaster, using molecular biology, genomics, transcriptomics, and bioinformatics approaches.
