Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto (FFCLRP)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Biomedical Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) in 2018, and holds a Master's degree in Sciences with an emphasis on Molecular Biophysics from the Graduate Program in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology (FAMB) at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo (FFCLRP-USP). During her undergraduate studies, she conducted Scientific Initiation research at the "Dr. Mário Endsfeldz Camargo" Immunoparasitology Laboratory, focusing on the biochemical characterization and evaluation of the antiparasitic and antitumor effects of a lectin and later a protease, both of plant origin. During her Master's research at the Molecular Biophysics Laboratory (LBM), she sought to understand the initial secretion process of proteins involved in the Golgi complex, with particular interest in the GOLD domain of the human TMED1 protein. She provided experimental data to enhance the understanding of this domain, which is fundamental to elucidating the early stages of the secretion pathway. She gained experience in molecular biology techniques, such as the expression and purification of heterologous proteins, and in molecular biophysics techniques, including fluorescence, circular dichroism, differential scanning calorimetry, and size-exclusion chromatography coupled with a multi-angle light scattering detector. She is currently an Industrial Technological Development Fellow (Level B) of CNPq at the National Institute of Basic and Applied Optics for Life Sciences. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
