Biomedical Sciences ungraduated student at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) and receives a Scientific Initiation scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation. Her project is being carried out in the Molecular Parasitology Laboratory under the supervision of Professor Angela K. Cruz and co-supervision of Dr. Gustavo D. Campagnaro. Her research focuses on the potential role of arginine methylation promoted by the the Protein Arginine Methyltransferase (PRMT) 5 of Leishmania braziliensis in a RuvB-Like 1 protein.
