Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Faculdade de Ciências Aplicadas (FCA)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have experience in Biotechnology, with molecular biology emphasis. I did internships both in the area of molecular biology, working with microsatellite sequence transfers (SSR) between sorghum and sugarcane, in the Sugarcane Genetic Improvement Program (PMGCA - UFSCar), and in the area of bioinformatics, in the analysis of proteins differentially expressed in the contamination of Phytophtora parasitica in different types of citrus, at the Instituto do Agronômico de Campinas (IAC). I also worked at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - FCA) in a project that evaluated the benefits of probiotic products in exercised rats through techniques such as Western blotting, Immunofluorescence and ELISA. I did a master's degree at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP - FCA) in the Nutrition and Sports and Metabolism Sciences program (CNEM), as a scholarship holder. I worked with the effects of the extract of unconventional food products derived from beetroot on human liver (HepG2) and blood vessel endothelium (HUVEC) cell lines, as well as cholesterol and glucose metabolism. In addition, I participated in other projects involving metabolism, diet, cancer, dietary probiotics and non-communicable chronic diseases. I am currently in the second year of my PhD at UNICAMP - FCA, with a project involving non-structural proteins (NSPs) of SARS-CoV-2. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
