He holds a degree in Physics from the University of Havana (1999), a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Havana (2008) and a PhD in Space Geophysics (Area of Concentration in Atmospheric Sciences) at INPE on October, 2016. Areas of main interest are aeronomy with emphasis on equatorial ionosphere and ionospheric plasma irregularities using data from different instruments (rockets, imagers, ionosonde, GNNS receiver). In 2020 completed a postdoctoral fellow in cooperation with the China-Brazil Joint Space Weather Laboratory for Space Weather at INPE. Since 2020, he has been part of the Embrace/INPE Space Weather forecasting group. Currently works in the area of satellite control and operation planning in the Control Reception and Tracking Coordination at INPE. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
