Luiza Wollinger Delfino is a master's student in the Postgraduate Programme in Audiovisual Media and Practices at the University of São Paulo, Brazil. With a FAPESP scientific initiation fellowship and supervised by Prof Dr Esther Império Hamburger (2020/15036-4), she researched theories of cinema through the senses, based on the work of Vera Chytilová, seeking transmedia relations between the director's cinema and television. In 2022, she did a research internship at Charles University in Prague, where she worked at the Cinematheque and the Czech Television Archive, with a FAPESP grant (2022/04554-0). She has completed an undergraduate research project on dramaturgy in new media, with the support of the Unified Scholarship Programme at the University of São Paulo, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roberto Moreira. As an art director, she has directed the short films O que fica de quem vai (André Zamith, Vinícius Cerqueira, 2023), Nossos Últimos Dias (José Toledo, 2024), Urticária Incandescente (Augusto A. Sauandaj, 2025) and the music video Convenções Humanas (Human Conventions), by the bands Walfredo em Busca da Simbiose and PLUMA, which she submitted as her final project for the Audiovisual Degree course at ECA-USP in 2023. Luiza currently investigates the articulations between art direction and screenwriting, through the work of Czech artista Ester Krumbachová, with a FAPESP grant (2024/00235-2).
