Birthplace: Brazil

Currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IO/USP), supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Holds a Ph.D. in Oceanography (2025) through a dual degree program between USP and Sorbonne University (Paris, France), a Master's degree in Oceanography with a focus on Physical Oceanography (2018) from USP, and a Bachelor's degree in Oceanology (2015) from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), including an academic exchange at the University of Auckland (New Zealand) through the Science Without Borders program (2014).Her current research focuses on the analysis of numerical climate modeling simulations, with an emphasis on the Tropical Atlantic Ocean, its connection to the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC), and sea surface temperature variability from past to future, aiming to understand the diverse responses to climate change. Her research interests include climate and paleoclimate, oceanvolcanism interactions, anthropogenic climate change, the Tropical Atlantic and Southern Ocean, extreme events, and numerical modeling.
