He holds a B.S. in Nutrition and an M.Sc. in Physiological Sciences from the Federal University of Paraiba, Brazil. During his undergraduate and master's studies, he conducted research on the impact of maternal dyslipidemia on cardiometabolic health in offspring, leading to significant findings and publications. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Sao Paulo, investigating the role of oxytocin in respiratory control. His doctoral research has been presented at international conferences and includes a research internship at the University of Connecticut.
