Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy, FFLCH - University of São Paulo (USP). Holds a double Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the University of São Paulo, with research funded by CNPq and the CAPES PDSE (Sandwich Doctorate Program Abroad). Earned a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Philosophy from USP, both supported by CAPES funding. In 2022-2023, served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Political Economy, Kings College London (KCL), under the supervision of Paul Sagar, with research funded by FAPESP/BEPE. In 2021, completed a postdoctoral research internship at the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Currently, serves as the editor-in-chief of Cadernos de Ética e Filosofia Política (FFLCH-USP). Also an associate member of PHARE (Maison des Sciences Économiques, Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne) and the Economic Imagination Laboratory (USP). Active member of Abes XVIII - Brazilian Association of Eighteenth Century Studies and the International Adam Smith Society (IASS). His research centers on ethics and political philosophy, with a particular focus on moral philosophy. He investigates the philosophical foundations of modern economic-political discourse, examining the interplay between politics, morality, and economics, as well as the philosophical underpinnings of liberalism and its earliest critiques.
