I am a biologist, working in the fields of botany, genetics, and ecology. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Edinburgh and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. My doctoral project focuses on investigating the phylogeny and population genetics of species from the families Eriocaulaceae and Malvaceae, with a focus on the Cerrado and campos rupestres. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Ecology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2016-2019). At UFRJ, I was a undergraduate researcher (CNPq scholarship) at the Plant Ecology Laboratory of the Department of Ecology. I earned my Master's degree from the Plant Biology graduate program at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2020-2023) (CNPq/FAPESP scholarship).
