Livia Moura de Souza

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering (2003), Master?s degree in Plant Genetic Breeding (2007), PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (2012) and postdoc in Genetics and Molecular Biology applied to plant breeding. Experience with next generation sequencing technology (NGS), plant breeding techniques (autogamous and allogamous), QTL mapping, population genetics and genomic selection. She has been collaborating nacional (ESALQ, IAC, EMBRAPA) and internationally with researchers from CIRAD (France) since 2007 where she held two internships (2009 and 2012), with a partnership in projects and publications of scientific articles. Experience in writing and conducting scientific projects and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as didactic experience in undergraduate classes since 2016. Easily adaptable to new environments, dedicated to work, motivated and proactive with a problem solving mindset, strong communication skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
