Centro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento (CPqD)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Equador

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejército ESPE (2011), and a Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis on Telecommunications and Telematics, from the University of Campinas UNICAMP (2014 and 2019, respectively). During his Ph.D., he was a visiting researcher at Université Laval (Québec, Canada), where he applied Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to pattern recognition in mobile communication systems, propagation channels, circuit boards, and electronic components. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Artificial Intelligence at UNICAMP, funded by Samsung Brazil Amazônia, developing deep learning solutions applied to computer vision for anomaly detection in industrial processes, resulting in a patent filing. In recent years, he has shifted his focus to software development, with an emphasis on blockchain technologies. He combines his strong technical background and experience in artificial intelligence to create innovative solutions for both public and private networks.Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Research and Development in Telecommunications (CPQD), working on the Semear Digital project led by Embrapa and funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). His work focuses on building decentralized systems using Web3 and blockchain technologies, as well as exploring the intersection between blockchain and artificial intelligence.
