Leonardo Callori Kefalás

Currently, a research fellow at CNPq (DTI-B) in the Climate Shelters project on the coast of São Paulo and a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Environmental Science at the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo (PROCAM - IEE/USP). Holds a degree in Social Sciences from the University of São Paulo, at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences (FFLCH - USP). Earned Master's degree from the Graduate Program in Environmental Science (PROCAM) at the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE), University of São Paulo (USP). Participated, as a FAPESP scientific initiation fellow, in the FAPESP Thematic Project "Environmental Governance in the São Paulo Macrometropolis in the face of climate variability", grant number 2015/03804-9, and worked on the topics of "environmental justice", "environmental racism", and "green gentrification". Has interests in the fields of environmental science and urban sociology, currently researching the topic of "climate shelters" in the Climate Shelters project on the coast of São Paulo. Has international experience as a cultural exchange student at the Rotary Club of Uberaba-MG, residing in Arnhem, the Netherlands, for a period of six months (Aug/2014 - Jan/2015).
