Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Química (IQ) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Ph.D. in Science (Inorganic Chemistry, State University of Campinas, Unicamp, 2010), M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry (Unicamp, 2006) and B.Sc in Chemistry (University of Brasília, 2004). He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with emphasis in Materials Science and Electrocatalysis, mainly in the synthesis of various structures, his refined characterization, using electronic microscopies (transmission and scanning), various spectroscopies (FTIR, XRD, XRF, NMR, etc.) , Thermal analysis (TG, DSC, ITC) and electrochemical methods (CV, CA). He has worked on other subjects such as interdisciplinary teaching, environmental analytical chemistry, animal toxicology, porous and lamellar oxides, biopolymers, inorganic-organic hybrid materials and carbon molecular sieves. He developed a postdoctoral project with functionalized delaminated materials and his thermochemistry in the sorption of various contaminants. He worked as a researcher and consultant in teaching at the Institute of Aeronautical Technology (ITA) by the Casimiro Montenegro Filho Foundation (FCMF) working within the ExpanITA project with the Chemistry Department. He was also Substitute Professor at Federal University of São Carlos at inorganic chemistry during 2016 and 2017. Since 2015, he has been working as scientific director of the Vidárvore Association (VA), founded in the same year with still incipient action in planting trees, seedlings production, soil and environmental science research and environmental education. He currently works as a collaborating researcher at the Campinas Electrocatalysis Group at Unicamp. The main project consists of the study of the electro-oxidation of glycerol on gold covered with Ad-atoms such as antimony, bismuth, lead, cobalt and copper. The implementation and use of a sample collection system during electro-oxidation associated with HPLC analysis will allow the determination of the mechanisms involved. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
