Graduated in Pharmacy from the Catholic University of Santos/SP (2010), master's degree (2013) and PhD in Sciences (2018) from the Disease Control Coordination, São Paulo State Health Department (CCD/SP), Adolfo Lutz Institute (IAL/SP). Post-doctorate in Sciences in the Department of Parasitology from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP/SP) (2019-2024). Worked in three laboratories: I. Laboratory of New Drugs for Neglected Diseases with emphasis on Leishmaniasis and Chagas Disease (2010-2018) (IAL/SP); II. Laboratory of Leishmaniasis with emphasis on chemotherapy of leishmaniasis (2019-2021) (ICB-USP/SP); III. Malaria Laboratory with emphasis on biosynthesis of leishmaniasis isoprenoids (2021-2024) (ICB-USP/SP). Has extensive experience in the area of #8203;#8203;New Drugs for Neglected Tropical Diseases with emphasis on Cutaneous and Visceral Leishmaniasis, Chagas disease and Malaria. Focused on the discovery of new pharmaceutical prototypes in Protozoology, develops efficacy studies in the described diseases, with extensive experience in cell culture. In the search for a new pharmaceutical prototype, works in two distinct lines of research: I. Drug repositioning and therapeutic combination; II. Metabolites of natural origin or molecules inspired by them. In addition to carrying out efficacy studies in the in vitro model (such as activity in extracellular and intracellular forms of the parasites, cytotoxicity studies in different cell lines and the study of the mechanism of action by various techniques), also has expertise in the in vivo model of Leishmaniasis and Chagas disease. His career includes national and international collaborations, with consolidated results in several indexed scientific publications and presentations at scientific conferences and events. Production: I. Publications: 20 indexed articles (H index: 15; number of submissions: 519); II. Supervision: 01 final course work. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
