Ismael Raitz

Graduation at Chemisty - Bachelor from Regional University of Blumenau (2008), master's at Chemistry from Federal University of Santa Catarina (2012) and doctorate at Chemistry from University of Campinas (2017) with a sandwich period at the at the University of Nottingham (UK) for 9 months. He has experience in Chemistry focusing on Organic Synthesis, working mainly on the following topics: synthesis of compounds with bioactive potential (antiprotozoal and antitumor), synthesis of fluorescent compounds for biomarkers, and some biological assays (MTT, clonogenic, etc.). He is currently a scholarship holder in the Dissemination of Knowledge division of the Centre of Excellence for Research in Sustainable Chemistry (CERSusChem) in a project of the Centre for Integrated Chemistry Teaching at USP-Ribeirão Preto.
