Obtained his PhD at the Institute of Chemistry of the University of São Paulo under supervision of Prof. Dr. Hermi Felinto de Brito and Prof. Dr. Oscar L. Malta (DQF-UFPE); the subject of the research was the Intramolecular Energy Transfer processes in lanthanide coordination compounds studied through transient absorption spectroscopy, as well as the effect of the intermolecular interactions on the ligand field of crystalline solids. Has experience in synthesis of lanthanide ions coordination compounds and lanthanide ions spectroscopy., time-resolved spectroscopy, Computational Chemistry, and kinetic models. Received a Gold Medal at the II Brazilian Undergraduate Chemistry Olympiad - 2019 (II-OBESQ). Received a Silver medal at the São Paulo Chemistry Olympiad (OQSP) in 2016. Acted as teaching assistant/tutor for several Chemistry undergraduate courses such as QFL1101 - General Chemistry I, QFL1322 - Reactivity of Organic Compounds and QFL1242 - Quantum Chemistry.
