Professor in the Department of Maternal-Child and Psychiatric Nursing at the School of Nursing, University of São Paulo. He holds a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Nursing from the Federal University of Pelotas and a PhD in Public Health with a focus on Policy, Planning, and Management from the University of Campinas. He completed postdoctoral activities at the Department of Public Health at the University of Campinas (PD-FAPESP Fellow) between 2021 and 2023, and conducted international research internships at the Centre for Implementation Science (CIS) at Kings College London through the CAPES PrInt and BEPE FAPESP programs in 2019 and 2021. He is a member of the Global Implementation Society (GIS), part of the Latin American Implementation Network (GIS-LATAM), and serves as Associate Editor for the international journal Global Implementation Research and Applications (GIRA). In recent years, his work has focused on the implementation of mental health policies and practices, particularly efforts to integrate specialized services and primary care. He is affiliated with the Graduate Program in Nursing at the University of São Paulo and collaborates with both the academic and professional graduate programs in Public Health at the School of Medical Sciences of Unicamp, where he primarily supervises research on the following topics: Evaluation; Psychosocial Rehabilitation; Collaborative Care; and Implementation Science.
