Master in Analysis and Modeling of Environmental Systems from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and Bachelor in Environmental and Sanitarist Engineering from the Federal Center for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). Currently, she collaborates on research at the National Center for Monitoring and Alerts of Natural Disasters (CEMADEN) and the TREESlab at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE), focusing on studies related to drought in watersheds, wildfires, and forest degradation in the Amazon. She served as a teaching assistant for the courses of Geographic Information Systems and Introduction to Experimental Practice in the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering program at CEFET-MG, teaching geoprocessing techniques and remote sensing. Additionally, she volunteered in a scientific initiation project in the field of geoprocessing applied to environmental vulnerability analysis, with a focus on disasters involving tailings dams. She was the founder of the League of Environmental Engineering and Entrepreneurship (SUSTENTAR) at the Environmental and Sanitary Engineering program at CEFET-MG, with experience in project management and human resources, earning the Diamond League award from the Estudar Foundation in 2015. She completed an internship at the Effluent Monitoring Department (GEDEF) of the State Environmental Foundation (FEAM), focusing on licensing, inspection, and research, with an emphasis on monitoring domestic and industrial effluents in the state of Minas Gerais.
