Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (2012), a Master's degree (2014), and a Ph.D. (2018) in Plant Genetics and Breeding from the Federal University of Lavras. During the Ph.D. program, he completed a internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2016-2017) and Michigan State University (2017-2018), funded by CAPES under the Special Visiting Researcher Program (PPVE). He worked as an Associate Researcher in the Department of Plant Biology at Michigan State University (2018-2020) and as a Postdoctoral Fellow (FAPESP) at the Institute of Biology, University of Campinas (2021-2024). Currently, he is a Researcher at the Genomics for Climate Change Research Center (Unicamp/Embrapa/FAPESP).He has extensive experience in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology, with an emphasis on Cytogenetics, employing techniques such as Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization (FISH), immunolocalization, and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP).
