She holds a Bachelor's degree (Licensure and Bachelor's) in Biological Sciences from the State University of Londrina (2008), a Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the same institution (2010), and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Genetics) from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Botucatu campus. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UNESP (2015) and worked as a Research Assistant at Vejle Hospital in Denmark for one year. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Molecular Oncology Research (CPOM) at Barretos Cancer Hospital, developing part of her project at the Department of Pathology at the University of North Carolina (UNC), United States (March, 2025- Februarry, 2026). She has experience in the field of Genetics, with an emphasis on Molecular Biology, Liquid Biopsy, and Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
