Mauro Prato

I am a Biologist and I have a Doctoral Degree in Entomology from the University of São Paulo. I am currently a Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo - Brazil. I teach Biology for Certificate Programs in Chemistry, Food Technology, Sugar and Ethanol Technology. I also teach Cellular Biology, General Biology, Biochemistry and Toxicology to the Chemistry, Food Engineering and Renewable Resources Engineering Undergraduate Programs. My research areas are the in vitro rearing of stingless bees queens, population dynamics, sexed production, conservation and new technologies in multiplication of colonies of stingless bees.
