Graduated in Polymers from the São Paulo State Faculty of Technology (FATEC) and a Chemical Technician from the State Technical School (ETEC). Currently, he is part of the Biotechnology and Innovation Center of the Technical Division of Support for Teaching, Research, and Innovation (DTAPEPI) at the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo (USP). He has experience as a FAPESP Scientific Initiation Scholar and TT-2 Fellow, working at the Cell and Molecular Therapy Center (NUCEL), where he conducted research in Regenerative Medicine, Type 1 Diabetes, isolation and encapsulation of pancreatic islets, as well as the generation of endocrine pancreas spheroids and organoids. His expertise encompasses areas such as Biotechnology, Diabetes, 3D Culture of Spheroids and Organoids, Endocrine Pancreas, Diabetes Models, Biopolymers, Biocompatibility, Polymer Systems for Regenerative Medicine, and Polysaccharide Hydrogels.
