Birthplace: Brazil

PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2025) from the Graduate Program in Materials Science and Engineering (PPGCEM - UFSCar), where he also earned a masters degree (2021). He graduated in Materials Engineering with an emphasis on Ceramic Materials from the Federal University of São Carlos (2014) and completed a one-year internship in France (2017) as a FIRE Alumna (Federation for International Refractory Research and Education). Part of his doctoral research was developed in France (BEPE - FAPESP) at the 3SR group of Université Grenoble Alpes and the Institut Laue-Langevin, where he carried out neutron tomography experiments. He has experience in computational simulations and full-field techniques, such as X-ray and neutron tomography, particularly applied to mass and energy transport in porous media. He has taught five short courses, amouting to over 60h, participated in 17 national and international conferences, where he presented 21 works, and has been the author or co-author of 29 scientific articles. He has also received 14 awards, including the Professor Sérgio Mascarenhas Award (2020), granted to outstanding Materials Engineering graduates of 2019, and the ACerS Rising Stars Competition (2024) from the American Ceramic Society, recognizing researchers who have demonstrated excellence in research and scientific leadership. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Microstructure Engineering Group (GEMM) in the Department of Materials Engineering at UFSCar, funded by FAPESP, studying the drying of refractory castables.
