PhD in Sciences (Area of #8203;#8203;concentration: Genetics and Evolution), Master in Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of São Carlos, Bachelor in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Alfenas. She carried out academic research based on the analysis of genomic and epigenetic data, focusing on the influence of allele-specific expression and the effect of parental origin on gene expression and meat quality phenotypes of Nelore cattle. During her doctorate, she did an internship abroad for one year at the University of California (Davis, CA, USA), where she worked with bovine epigenomes for the bovineFAANG project.
