possesses Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences earned at the Federal University of Ceará (2004), Masters degree in Biochemistry, obtained at the Universidade Federal do Ceará (2006) and PhD at the University of Graz (2012). Currently, he is a VIPS postdoc at Max F. Perutz Laboratories, in Vienna. He has experience with Biochemistry, Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology, with emphasis in Protein Crystallography. He acts mainly in the following topics: structural and thermodynamics characterisation of Dipeptidyl peptidases, protein-RNA interaction, macromolecular assemblies of muscle proteins present in the Z-disk, and structural characterisation of lectins.
