I am currently working at the Laboratory of Instrumental and Applied Analytical Chemistry (LQAIA), where I am developing a direct doctoral project entitled: Development of PET-iron oxide nanoparticle composites for the remediation of mercury contamination in aquatic and terrestrial environments: an integrated approach. This research has the financial support of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) and involves the application of advanced analytical techniques, such as cold vapor atomic absorption, for the determination of mercury in different environmental matrices. My work also covers the development of PET-nanohematite composites, using innovative approaches such as 3D printing to improve the efficiency and applicability of the materials produced. I have a degree in Chemistry from the Ribeirão Preto School of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (USP-RP). During my degree, I actively participated in research and teaching projects. Currently, I maintain my admiration for the field of education and the teaching of chemistry, seeking constant improvement, with a current focus on higher education. My career brings together analytical chemistry, research into advanced materials and an appreciation of education as a tool for transformation. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
