Graduated in Biological Sciences from Universidade Paulista - UNIP, in the modalities of Licentiate (2018) and Bachelor (2019). Master in Botany from the Botany Department of the University of São Paulo - USP (2021) with a concentration in the area of Phytochemistry and is currently a doctoral student in the same department. He received a Technical Training III scholarship from FAPESP, linked to the Evolutionary Ecology Lab, located in the Ecology Department of the Biosciences Institute of the University of São Paulo (USP), where he supported research activities on natural enemies of drosophilids. He has experience in research on volatile oils, preparation of different extracts, chemical characterization of plant species and various biological activities, such as: antimicrobial, cytotoxic, antiacetylcholinesterase, phytotoxic, antioxidant activity, among others. He is interested in the chemical constitution of Brazilian species, as well as the biological potential of active compounds. Its main objects of study are the analysis of plant extracts, isolation of substances, evaluation of biological activities, analysis of constituents of volatile oils, cuticular waxes and more recently, it is interested in antiviral defense responses in plant species.
