I have a Major in Language and Literature, a Master's degree and a PhD in Literary Theatre and Criticism from the University of Campinas - UNICAMP. I was an exchange student at the University of New Mexico (2012), and a Visiting Researcher at the City University of New York, where I was a Segal Fellow at the Martin E. Segal Theatre Center (2018), under the supervision of Professor David Savran. I am currently a São Paulo Research Foundation fellow and a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo - ECA/ USP, having spent one year as a visiting researcher of the Institut de Recherche en Études Théâtrales of Université Sorbonne Nouvelle. I am the International Secretary for Latin America for the Edward Albee Society, and the editor of Albee Abroad, the fifth volume of the New Perspectives in Edward Albee Studies series, published by Brill, in 2023. I am a member of the research groups Dramaturgy and Theatre (Brazilian Association of Graduate Research in Literature and Linguistics), Estudos do Teatro Ex-Cêntrico (CNPq / ECA - USP), LAICA: Laboratório de Investigação e Crítica Audiovisual (CNPq/ ECA - USP), TopoLogiques (IRET - Paris 3), and the European Beat Studies Network. I am also an associate editor of journals Dramaturgia em foco, and Significação - Revista de Cultura Audiovisual. My main research interests include: dramaturgy; theatre theories; literary and theatrical criticism, history and historiography; Brazil - USA comparative studies; Chinese traditional theatres; global theatre studies.
