Post-doctorate in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS/RS) in 10/2021, with the theme: Big Data Processing using Hybrid Infrastructures with Intelligent Systems and from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) in 05/2022, with the theme: Architecture and Model for Edge Intelligence. Master's in Computer Science from UFRGS/RS, in 04/2012, with the theme Adequacy of Data-Intensive Computing for Desktop Grid Environments using MapReduce. Graduated in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Electronics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUC/RS) - in 03/1991. He was a Visiting Professor in the Postgraduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering (PPGETI) in 2022, at the Technology Center of the Federal University of Ceará. Founder and coordinator of the research group called Advanced Center for the Development of Intelligent Systems and Artificial Intelligence (CANDEIIA).
