Graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, on the campus of the Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences of Jaboticabal. At the moment he works as a researcher at the Dpt. of Neuroscience and Behavioral Sciences at the University of São Paulo Medical School in Ribeirão Preto, where he completed his master's degree researching the interactions between ayahuasca and cannabidiol in healthy volunteers. He is now doing his doctorate in the same laboratory, investigating the therapeutic effects of ketamine and ayahuasca for the treatment of depression. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
