Leticia Zorante de Lucena

Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Brazil: ICB/USP (2016-2021), and certified by the Regional Council of Biomedicine of São Paulo (CRBM1-SP/BR) in Molecular Biology and Imaging. During this period, I conducted scientific initiation projects in pharmacology, immunology, and parasitology at ICB/USP; and in Oncology at A.C. Camargo Cancer Center. I have experience in clinical radiotherapy and imaging in Nuclear Medicine (Scintigraphy and PET-CT) at the Center for Nuclear Medicine of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (HC-FMUSP: 2020-2021). I acquired knowledge in radioprotection; preparation and fractionation of doses; quality control of radiotherapy and equipment; organization of patient scheduling; patient reception; image acquisition; and image processing.As a Junior Analyst at Cr Diagnosticos (May 2021 - November 2021), I gained experience in RT-PCR protocols for COVID-19 diagnosis, developing skills in the use of Matrix and Connect diagnostic systems; executing real-time PCR protocols manually and in an automated manner (using the Qiagen - Qiagility - Qianquant equipment); and practicing oropharyngeal and venous material collection. I hold a Master's degree in Neurology from the Faculty of Medicine of USP HC-FMUSP (08/2021-06/2024). My master's thesis focused on the evaluation of clinical data through the neurology graduate program at the Faculty of Medicine of USP (HCFMUSP), conducting a study on the assessment of the cervical spinal cord using [11C]PIB in PET/MRI images of patients with multiple sclerosis and healthy volunteers, using PMOD 4.1 software.Currently, I serve as a Junior Scientific Advisor at the Brazilian Association for Science and Innovation (ABCI), providing strategic assessments for clients and preparing dossiers for submission to agencies promoting research, development, and innovation, aiming to obtain tax benefits (Lei do Bem).
