Bachelors and Licentiate degrees in Biological Sciences from Universidade Positivo, Masters degree in Physiology from Universidade Federal do Paraná, and PhD candidate in Physiology at Universidade de São Paulo (Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto), with an international research internship at the University of Queensland, Australia (BEPE FAPESP), in addition to extension courses in Physiology and Biochemistry at Harvard Medical School. He has extensive experience teaching in pre-university preparatory courses and high school, as well as authoring teaching materials aimed at preparing students for university entrance exams. He coordinates the Pint of Science Festival and is dedicated to research in the areas of organ and systems physiology, GLP-1 and analogs, single fiber physiology, endocrine responses to exercise, blood flow restriction training, cellular metabolism regulation, and science communication.
