BSc in Biological Sciences at University of Campinas (Unicamp). During my undergraduate studies, I worked on the floral and reproductive biology of ruderal plants. I have characterized the floral morphology and traits of seven ruderal species of Campinas metropolitan area. Inferred each breeding system through pollen-ovule ratio analysis, evaluated the influence of floral visitor on reproductive success by means of fruit-set comparison between plants isolated and exposed to floral visitors, photographed the floral visitors and examined the morphology and anatomy of the nectaries of the species. Additionally, through my undergraduate trajectory, I was assistant to several botany disciplines, assisted the development of science outreach activities in the Diversidade Vegetal em Foco project and had field work experience inf savannas, forests, grasslands and campos rupestres, in Brazilian Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, and Espinhaço range domains. Currently, I am starting my graduate studies working on species delimitation of Tapanhuacanga (Rubiaceae: Spermacoceae) integrating morphometrics, leaf anatomy, leaf micromorphology and phylogenomics. I have research experience in plant taxonomy and anatomy. Contact: pedroqdantas@gmail.com (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
