Post-doctoral researcher at the Center for Marine Biology of the University of São Paulo (CEBIMar-USP), where she investigates the diversity, connectivity and ecology of coral symbionts. Collaborator at the Centre de Recherches Insulaires et Observatoire de l'Environnement USR 3278 - EPHE-CNRS-UPVD (CRIOBE, France). Graduated in Biological Sciences (Marine Biology) (UFRJ), Master in Zoology (National Museum/UFRJ), PhD in Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology (PPGBBE - UFRJ), whose project was supported by the Funbio Scholarships Program - Conserving the Future. She is an Effective Associate Member of the Living Coral Institute and a member of the SISBIOTA-Mar Network. He has experience with the morphology and reproduction of reef corals and with the molecular diversity of coral and hydrocoral symbionts, with an emphasis on applying molecular techniques to understand diversity, the evolutionary relationships between these organisms and their interactions with environmental parameters.
