Gabriel Luca Nazar received the B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from this same institution in 2013. In 2009 he worked as a research assistant at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, Germany. He held a post-doctoral position at UFRGS from 2013 to 2014. Since 2014 he is a professor at the Department of Applied Informatics, at the Institute of Infomatics of UFRGS. His research interests include embedded systems, reconfigurable systems, computer architecture and fault tolerance. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
