He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics and Mechanical Systems Engineering at the Escola Politécnica of the Universidade de São Paulo. He holds a Ph.D. from thePost-Graduation Program in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. Major in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of São Paulo in 2020, with additional academic training through an international exchange in the Automation and Control Engineering program at Politecnico di Milano, Italy, under a double degree agreement, earning the title of Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to a Master of Science in Italy). He participated in the Tutorial Education Program (PET Automação e Sistemas) of the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) from 2014 to 2017. His research interests include Mechatronics and Machine Learning, with a focus on Dynamic Systems and Robotics, Control Systems, and Environmental Effects on Offshore Vessels, which are supported by research experience and publications in these areas.
